Note about species:
I consider this to be gray morel mycelium or "Tulip Morel." Tulip morels are a variety of small morels that grow around Tulip Poplar, Wild Cherry, Shagbark Hickory, and sometimes Oak trees. The species that grow under these trees could be Morchella diminutiva and/or M. rufobrunnea, but even professional mycologists have a difficult time differentiating between the two. These morels grow smaller than average but are still packed with flavor and are highly sought after.
What the product is:
Gray morel mycelium liquid cultures originally sourced from a spore print on agar and transferred to a mother liquid culture. The liquid culture contains honey, spring water, and coconut water to sustain the mycelium. Species is from the North Eastern U.S. This culture can be used to propagate your own in another liquid culture, agar plate, or used to inject spawn bags and grain jars.
What you will receive:
One 10ml/cc gray morel mycelium liquid culture syringe in nutrient enriched media
***The culture can last several months stored in a refrigerator in a zip lock bag until intended use. DO NOT REMOVE NEEDLE COVER until intended use or in front of a flowhood for risk of contamination. Flame sterilizing needle tip ensures no contamination with injection into grain jars/bags.
