History:
"Rowe Pottery Works was established in 1975 in Cambridge, Wisconsin In the late 1970s, as a two-person pottery studio and shop, sales were originally made through art fairs and the studio showroom. Jim Rowe did the pottery production on the potter's wheel and the pots were fired in the brick kiln out behind the small workshop.
Each piece is handmade and painted using traditional methods. It is also monogrammed by the individual artist.
The piece I have for sale was made by the artist Bruce Johnson. Bruce Johnson studied ceramic art in North Carolina, and after graduation went to work at Rowe Pottery Works, while there he was given the title of Master Potter. In 19993 Bruce left, and formed his own studio, "The Bruce Johnson Clay Studio".
Bruce is still producing fine pieces of art, and his studio is located today at: 302 Campus Street, Lake Mills Wisconsin."
The pitcher I have for sale, was made in 1992, shortly before Bruce formed his own studio. It is in nice condition, and free of any chips or cracks.
This item will be carefully packaged to ensure it arrives in the same condition seen in he photos.
