Every bag is sealed before pressure cooking and then sterilized at 15 PSI for 2 hours. The bags come with a self-healing injection port and a .5 micron filter patch. The bags come ready to inoculate with your favorite gourmet strain as soon as you open the box! All you have to do is sterilize the needle tip of your syringe and then penetrate the injection port. The injection port will greatly reduce the chances of contamination. The .5 micron filter patch will allow free gas exchange to the inside of the bag, which is necessary for the mycelium to colonize the grains quickly!
