We recommend that you order grain when you have all of your supplies and are ready to inoculate. For the best results, you want to inoculate your grain as soon as possible since it loses hydration over time. If you aren't inoculating your grain yet, we recommend that you freeze it. Frozen grain will remain properly hydrated for several months. Refrigeration is also a good option. If stored at room temperature, we recommend that you inoculate your grain within a couple weeks before the grains lose hydration.
