8 MACBETH-EVANS DOGWOOD 5" PINK
DEPRESSION GLASS FLAT TUMBLERS
Available for purchase is a collectible set of 8 pink depression glass tumblers made by the MacBeth-Evans Glass Company in Charleroi, Pennsylvania.  The pattern is called "Dogwood", also known as "Apple Blossom" and "Wild Rose", a popular design made between 1929 and 1932.  Each tumbler stands about 5" tall and has a capacity of 12 ounces.  The floral design for the tumblers was silk screened on to a blank, not molded into the glass like other pieces in this pattern.
The Dogwood pattern is described and pictured on pages 64-65 in the book "
Collector's Encyclopedia of Depression Glass 17th Edition
" by Gene and Cathy Florence.  The 5" flat tumblers have a 2006 book value of each (0 for a set of 8).  I purchased these tumblers at a recent estate sale.  They are guaranteed to be original Depression-era tumblers and not modern reproductions (this pattern has not been reproduced).  Please check my positive feedback and buy with confidence from a trusted seller.
Condition of these pink Dogwood tumblers is EXCELLENT with no chips, cracks, or fleabites.  They look fantastic and display beautifully.  Please take a close look at the many photos I've provided and judge condition for yourself.  I'm confident you'll be very pleased with this purchase.
