Description

Very nice sliced laguna agate specimen mounted to molded plastic and made into a clock.  The plaque on it reads:  AT&T Bell Laboratories Columbus 1959-1984.  It looks to be a service award, probably retirement for 35 years service, but I haven't been able to find another example, so just don't know.  The clock is tilted back on the stand and stands 4-3/4" tall and 4-3/8" wide.  The stone itself is slightly oblong being 3-1/4" X 3-1/2".  Interesting piece for early technology collector or a usable way to use a nice mineral slice specimen.
Thanks for looking!  Please check out my other items, you might find something else interesting.  All pictures are being taken with a Canon SLR camera with macro lenses and wide spectrum lighting to get as accurate of colors as possible.  I am always happy to combine shipping, when possible, but must ship within three business days of payment.  Just email me with any questions or comments.
