Ten cent Labrador Airmail "Land of Heart's Delight" issue of 1933, engraved, yellow, Coat of Arms watermark, perf 11.5x11.5. The normal position of the watermark for this stamp as viewed from the back is with the top of the Coat of Arms shield facing to the right with the caribou facing down - this is listed as Watermark Number 4 in the Newfoundland Specialized Stamp Catalogue by Walsh and Butt. The stamp being offered here has the watermark with the shield facing to the left and the caribou facing down - listed as a reverse watermark (watermark number 2 in NSSC). This stamp is listed as AM 15b in the Newfoundland Specialized Stamp Catalogue with a value of 0 for a mint hinged example. Stamp has excellent color and appearance and is well centered for this issue. Approximately 20% of original gum disturbed by previous hinging. No faults not obvious in the scans.
