    Description

The 5c violet, die l, perf 13 5 and 21mm wide image. It is listed by Unitrade as a 1941 Waterlow printing, 257ix but is shown by Walsh and Moore in January 2021 Maple Leaves to be a 1932 Perkins Bacon printing on dry paper.
The first two images show the block on offer. The face side is fresh with decent centers; the rear shows lightly discolored, mint, never hinged, original gum with a red stain on one stamp.
Images 3 and 4 show the design width matches Scott 257 but the perforation does not.
Images 5 and 6 show the perforation matches Scott 191 but the design width does not.
Unitrade lists 257ix at C5 for a very fine, NH single which equates to C0 for the block.
