Set of 8 - Miniature bottle of Okinawan star/sun sand
Each bottle contains natural star sand from beautiful Hatoma island, Okinawa Japan (Please note: Pieces of seashells and corals, dried seaweeds, broken star sand, natural beach sand, etc are slightly mixed in the bottle) It also includes some sun sand (Calcarina)
The bottle measurements (without the cork stopper): approx 35mm tall x 15mm in diameter.  Please look at the picture of the bottles and the quarter (24mm) for scale size. Each bottle is 6ml size.
What is star sand?
Star sand is a biogenic sand made of skeletons of tiny, mono-celled sea creatures belonging to the foraminifera group. This type of sand can be found in a limited area of the world, mainly Okinawa. It is said that star sand brings happiness, so many people keep the sand as lucky charms.
