Description
A wonderful Gersdorfite with numerous Octahedral (I believe - I'm not great at my geometry!) crystals up to 1.2 cm across with the entire piece in great shape I think. The piece is metallic and the luster varies from dull to "reflects light" depending on the crystal. There is outstanding definition as you can see in the macro shots. I think those are crystals forming on top of each other and not geothermal etching, but I could be wrong (looks too symmetrical to be etching?)While not a rare mineral itself, good examples are hard to find, especially of this size, quality, and with as many well-defined crystals as this. Feel free to look around ebay - this is a top piece, especially from Morocco!
