VOLVO PENTA SHIFT CAP MECHANISM HOUSING 3855785

Description

Listed here is a USED Volvo Penta Shift Cap Mechanism Housing.  This is a Genuine OEM Volvo Penta part NOT an aftermarket replacement.  HAS SOME SLIGHT PITTING AND AND MUCH OF THE PAINT IS MISSING FROM OUTER PORTION OF HOUSING.  INTERNALS AND SEAL SURCFACES ARE IN GREAT SHAPE.  CAME FROM A RUNNING GEAR CASE AND IS FULLY OPERATIONAL.  The part number is 3855785 and lists for almost 0 new.  Seal surfaces are in great shape (please see pictures).  Comes with O-Ring but AM NOT GUARANTEEING O RING.  Sealing ring should be changed but will ship part with it since it was operable upon disassembly and I have no use for it.  The part you see is the part you will receive with nothing extra.  This is the housing that holds the shift shoe for cone clutch operation on many of the outdrive models from 1996ish to 2006ish (depending on where your boat was on the assembly line.  Came off of a 2004 SX gearcase but will fit many of the Volvo drive platforms of those years.  If you have any questions or need help with compatibility please feel free to contact me and I will help you to the best of my abilities.  Thank you for your interest.  Steve :)
